In a small area, on the hills around Asti overlooking the province of Turin, the Malvasia di Schierano or Malvasia with “a short bunch” is grown; it produces a very pleasant sweet wine, fizzy or sparkling, the Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco. With a cherry red color with a typical aroma reminiscent of rosehips and hints of red fruits; sweet, fizzy or sparkling, it is completed in the final with harmonic flavor notes. It is a good combination with all desserts, biscuits and dried fruit. It should be served young and very chilled.
